Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya, I love ya !

Annie Leibovitz may be one of the greatest photographers of all time. I mean, who would've thought... Jessica Biel as Pocahontas, Gisele as Wendy, Zanessa as Sleeping Beauty and Julie Andrews as a fairy? Only I wish I had Annie's imagination and talent... I also wish I was in front of the camera... my dark, brunette waves dancing over a silk Snow White outfit as I gently lift my hand up to greet a fellow bird. Adorable, chubby bunnies cuddle in my lap as Bambi rests by my side. Nature+beauty all at once. What more could one wish for? Well... if only if only. For now, my love of Annie's Disney collection and my love of dogs might as well be intertwined thanks to my grudging hours on the computer all day. So.... I have put dog heads on these beautiful prince and princesses bodies. Hope I make you crack a smile! :) Comments are loved also !

I have to admit...

Alright, I have to admit. I'm not sure I like this new trend.

Jk:) However, the socks with heels, I do believe, is starting to appear on fashionista's feet. And, it is true, I'm not 100% sure I'm in love with it. However, I believe, as The Beautiful and Glammed(TBAG) said, "the fashion brave" can pull it off :) Let's have a look!

♫♪ I wanna live foreverr ♫♪

So, you want to be healthy. What good can come out of it? You can live longer, have more energy, and just feel better about yourself, period. Want your skin to glow? Ok well, find a guy, go to the beach and tan... but most importantly, eat well. I know you hear this over and over again. But, it's hard! It's painful to resist those lasagnas, pizzas, hot pockets and that "once in a while" panda express or rubio's. However, we are women ! We can do anything. Put your mind to it, and results will appear in the blink of an eye.
Ok. So #1:eat a medium sized breakfast. Have a banana with some low-fat Greek yoghurt or throw in raisins into some plain oatmeal. Banana's reduce depression, they're high in iron and potassium, they help with morning sickness and for those trying to give up smoking... go to http://bananasweb.com/bananas/Health+Benefits+of+Bananas to read more. Low-fat Greek yoghurt is higher in protein and lower in carbs, plus, it's creamy and thick and tastes amazing with fruit! Raisins are a great source of iron and are great for women who are on that time of the month... Oatmeal is fiberfiberfiber. Oatmeal/fiber is good because it not only fights cancers, reduces cholesterol, and provides plenty of nutrients, but it keeps you full for a while so you don't have to keep secretly munching on Chex Mix or those deadly Doritos we all love. I know you've heard before that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and it should be a big one... however, your body is just waking up and is not in the mood for digesting. Just like us- you know we just love to wake up at 6am to go to work!
#2: Uh oh. It's around 10am, and you're stomach's starting to rumble. You can't be hungry now, it's not even lunch time! Don't worry, this is normal.
Just stay away from vending machine snacks and those packaged goodies that are so hard to stay away from. You can do it! Buy plain, unsalted almonds. A great snack, though a bit tasteless... but you'll get used to them after a while. Almonds reduce your weight and lower the risk of heart disease in cancer! Great snack. Or... if you're not the greatest fan of nuts, bake a sweet potato. This could literally be one of the healthiest foods on Earth! It has a lot of vitamins A and C (anitoxidants!), plenty of fiber, good for diabetics and prevents cancer. Plus, it's delicious.
#3: Lunch break! Your friend's head to Subway or just some fast food place to pick up a quick bite before work starts again. Follow, but bring your own healthy lunch. Or go to a market nearby and pick up an orange and grape/cherry tomatoes (citrus fruit are amazingly healthy and help you lose weight!!!), and possibly a tofu, brown rice, or spinach dish. Tofu is just healthy, period. However, ladies, don't feed your husbands too much! It's a source of estrogen and we don't want our guys to lose their macho! Brown rice with barley, flaxseed and wheat germ in it is probably one of the healthiest dishes ever and should be eaten a couple times a week. Look online for recipes! There's just countless vitamins and minerals there.
#4: It's 4-5pm. Crap, you're hungry again. Another snack? No ! Eat your dinner anytime from around 4.30 to 6pm! The earlier the better- gives your stomach more time to digest and keeps you skinnier! What's for dinner tonight? Well, if you missed that serving of brown rice, cook it now! Fish complements rice well. However there are fish you need to stay away from since they are endangered (e.g.
salmon :'( sadly). Cook some bok choy (chinese spinach cabbage stuff), or some broccoli (which is full of potassium, is fiber-rich, and has endless nutrients), some squash, watercress, onions, shellfish, tomatoes... and you can add taste to any of these with herbs or ginger (which can soothe your throat, calm nausea, relieve an upset stomach, alleviate allergy symptoms, etc).
#5: So if you're like me, and after dinner you just have the feeling that you're not complete, you know what you're missing. Dessert ! Don't go down the frozen isle at your supermarket and splurge on ice cream or Oreos or any snack like that. Don't do it! For dessert, throw ice, milk/yoghurt, and a couple of fruits of your choice (preferably papaya, citrus fruit, blueberries, raspberries, bananas, cantalope, figs, and kiwis cause they're the most healthiest) and blend! Don't add sugar, fruit has enough already. If you absolutely HAVE to, add a dash of honey. Just a dash! Or just eat fruit plain.
Ok, so your day is complete. It was heart-breaking to give up those crackers and orange chicken and burritos, but it's worth it. Food is only a temporary best friend. It may make you feel great for 5 minutes, but after you will feel guilty. That is, if it's unhealthy food. Healthy food on the other hand, is good friend in your mouth, and throughout your body. It's a long-term best friend, giving you a healthy life AND a nice, fit body (if you add in those crunches and jogs into your daily routine). We women are strong. We can do anything if we set our minds to it. We can rule the world with our flat stomachs, lean, fit legs, glowing skin, and that dash of excitement in each step we take. The next time your hand reaches for one of those frozen dinners, or the phone for fast food delivery, stop yourself. Even if it's just one time, it will hurt you. I know you might think it won't, but afterwards, you will start craving for it and it will get harder and harder to pull your hand away. As Obama, Nike and your parents have said... "You can do it! Yes we can! Just do it!"
By the way/P.S./WAIT ! Remember this: Never eat artery crust. What's that? The crust from chicken pot pie. Never eat canned soup. It's kinda like drinking a can of salt+preservatives+a bunch of other bad things. And stay away from ice cream, the Cheesecake Factory, and cinnamon rolls. Just stay away. They're monsters. Ok, I knoe we love movie nights. But, you don't need popcorn. If you absolutely have to though, have No butter and No salt. Ok and Starbucks frappuccino's literally have over 500 calories and 15 grams of saturated fat. The whipping cream has 6-11grams of fat alone! Evil Coldstone ice cream has 1,600 calories and 42 grams of saturated fat. That will literally kill you.
Ok ! I hope I've scared you enough! Have a happy, glowing life:)
Oh and if anybody has something to add, comment on, or change, please comment !! Thanks! :)

the flying squirrel !

So as I was scrolling down the pages and pages of Lookbook.nu...... I realized that these "harem-like" pants are quite popular. Noticing my friend and a friend of a friend
wearing these fashionable pants, I had the sudden urge to go out and buy myself some. As I slipped into the familiar feeling of comfort and pride, I watched as my hopes shattered as my reflection stared back at me. For those who are skinnyskinnyskinny and tall... I envy you. Looking at my lower half, I recognized that in order to wear this emblem of spring fashion, you had to be stick skinny. If not, you would look as if you
were just wearing normal pants and had the largest of asses.
Anyway, as of now, my home lies in Taiwan. I questioned my peers regarding these pants and found out the Chinese word for these pants directly translates to "flying squirrel". Sorry, I just thought that would be a fun fact to add in. :)
So... you've probably
seen these pants in some place or another... and if you're like me, and whenever you see a tall, lean fashionable person wearing these "flying squirrels", desire and envy fill your eyes... remember this: focusfocusfocus. Envy and jealousy surging through your blood will give you nothing but wrinkles.
Focus, with all your might, on dieting and exercising and get that nice ass you've always wanted!
For the rest of you... work those harem-flying-squirrel pants, cuz they are hothothot! Until summer comes...
Can't wait to see what this one brings:)

Gisele.

Gisele Bündchen: the hottest Brazilian on the planet, period. Speaks Portuguese, Spanish AND English. Whew! Beauty AND brains. Oh and guess who else owns them... Tom Brady, the quarterback for the New England Patriots, and the hottest player out there. What a perfectly perfect couple, right? Well, I do believe he'd be better with me... but I guess for now he's hands-off.
Back to Beautiful Bündchen. Did you know she has a sister? A TWIN sister I might add? A surprise to some of you I'm guessing? And another sister, Gabriela. They're all amazingly pretty as you can imagine. Lucky parents !
From her long, golden brunette locks to her skyscraper high cheekbones to long, skinny face to her sexy accent to her mile-long legs, the incredibly sexy Gisele has the face and body of every girls' dreams. Of course she's one of the Victoria's Secret Angels... of course she gets photographed by the top photographers: Steven Meisel, Annie Leibovitz, Mario Testino, Karl Lagerfield and more... of course she's in a movie with Queen Latifah and Jimmy Fallon, acting as the hottest bad girl on Earth... and of course she's been called the fourth most powerful person in the fashion world, the only supermodel, period, and the biggest star in fashion
history.
Gisele has a body to die for, and we know it. She also has a caring heart. When the disaster of Haiti struck, Gisele pitched in 1.5 million US dollars to help the destruction and havoc dropped on the poor country. Oh and there's more. Even more heart-warming for myself, an environment lover, Gisele is now the United Nations goodwill ambassador for the environment. "I couldn't have asked for a better childhood,” Bündchen said. “We must act now, so future generations have the same opportunity. Mother Earth is our fundamental life-support system, and by becoming aware and responsible now, we can assist in preserving the planet." ... Go Bündchen !
Anyway, Gisele, we know you're going to be a great mother, and we can't wait to see your beautiful baby(s) grow up into the beautiful, loving, caring people we know they're going to be. Thanks for being such an inspiration to girls across the world and good luck with your future. We're all here for you and we love you.

Oh my Coco !

Coco Rocha, the Irish-Russian-Welsh beauty, has recently tied the knot with James Conran! Her friend and interior designer AND now her husband, James created breath-taking backgrounds for a photo shoot for Coco. Chris Nicholls, an AMAZING photographer, had the honor of shooting this beautiful legend and with her crazy unique and mouth-dropping face and her fun, lively personality. Jealous, much?
The canadian-born model, Coco Rocha, began her professional career in 2004 after she was spotted at an Irish dance competition. She started in New York City, achieved a fabulous photographer, Steven Meisel, and stormed her way through Vogue Italia, Anna Sui and Marc Jacob runways, NY and Paris fashion weeks, the covers of Flare, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar... ok the list is endless... you get it.
Anyway, this girl is super fun and loves to have a laugh. Who doesn't love a great sense of humour?
I present to you... my new role model... Coco Rocha!

You slip on your favorite pair of heels, walk out your door into the dazzling world just waiting for you.
As a great man once said, you are caught on video camera more than 20 times a day- do you look the part?
Fashion is an expression, a statement, a part of you. Shoes are the lead in the pencil, the blood pumping through the heart, the SIM card in the cell phone- they complete you. Without shoes, you are the girl with no love, the peanut butter and jelly sandwich with no peanut butter, the unripe mango and the chair with only two legs.
As you confidently stride down the sidewalk, your Balenciaga snuggled between your arm and body, and your Choos clacking against the concrete, heads turn, eyebrows are raised and nods of
approval are sent your way. You glance at your reflection in the facade of a boutique and give yourself a smile. You approve of yourself too. There's not a worry in the world. What's this feeling? Happiness. What's it from? The clack of your favorite pair of shoes and all the comfort in the world knowing that you are an inspiration to not only others, but yourself.

As a child, every summer my family would take me and my sister on vacations and we would travel the world. Paris, Venice, Australia, Rome, Germany, Belgium... you name it ! However, with these vacations came museums. Museums after museums after museums. From the Louvre to the National Smithsonian Institution, you couldn't name one museum I hadn't been to. With shame, I do admit that I was sick of them. Until one day I entered a mall, sparkled with lights and displays of purses, shoes and clothed mannequins. Walking into each designer's palace, I realized that the journey through each store was just like a walk through a museum. Valuables winked at me as I gushed over the beautiful designs. Every step brought another skipped heart beat and a gasp. My breath caught in my throat as I ignored the glaring sales people. Nothing could take my eyes from shoe after shoe, purse after purse, and outfit after outfit. I had never seen anything like this before. Ever since this day, the mention of museums has not brought a sigh, but a touch of curiousity.
I am truly grateful for my experiences thanks to Chanel, Prada and Escada. Nothing can take away the feeling of breathing in the scent of leather and perfume dancing with each other, happily parading over rows and rows of luxurious items. Nothing can take away the experience. Savour each moment as you would savor a chocolate chip cookie fresh out of the oven. Eradicate all sighs and delete all regrets. The world is yours.
